Miss Jojo uses her laptop to create beats, bass lines, and trippy trance-forms in real time and mixes it all up live in performance. Jojo’s electronica nods to dubstep, mellow techno, downtempo D&B and trance. It’s all original and all played and looped live.

Nomadic and perpetually moving for well over a decade, Miss Jojo’s roots are in the UK club and rave scene of the 90s and the trance parties of Goa and Thailand. Together with her collage of influences from journeying through North Africa, the Caribbean, India, Europe, southeast Asia and the American Southwest, she has melted down all these beginnings and created her own unique sound.
