Justin Handley
Multi-Instrumentalist Justin Handley brings his instrumental skills to the project moving from traditional picking to wildly distorted soundscapes. Having played violin since he was three years old, Justin Handley has studied under kora and djembe masters in West Africa, traditional violinists in Eastern Europe and Argentina, and the amazing experimental composer Yusef Lateef.
Bending and weaving with Miss Jojo’s beats and bass lines you will find Justin’s melodies on guitar, violin, flute, and mandolin with occasional appearances by other instruments as well. Before playing with Silvermouse Justin toured internationally as a composer, performer, and musician with an experimental theatre ensemble. Justin’s music has been called “Haunting” by the New York Times and “Inspired and Moving” by ABC Spain.
